DISTiMAN's offers a tried and true product selection process geared to helping designers find the right product for their specific needs, quickly and intuitively.  Once they find the right product, they can download all available documents either freely or after requiring a login, depending on configuration setting.

DISTiMAN has 3 checkout carts that can be enabled or disabled via configuration settings.  One cart is dedicated to managing sample / evaluation requests.  Website visitors can add multiple parts to the SAMPLE cart and submit the request in one simplified submission.  Sample requests are saved to the system permanently and emailed to the defined distribution list, just like an actual order.

DISTiMAN's version of E-Commerce is vastly different than the typical e-commerce platform.  Primary differences are that we handle taxable / non-taxable orders, negotiated pricing for re-orders, configurable address fields to manage address types around the globe, pre-populated tax-tables by zip-code, and payment by credit card or terms extended to authorized accounts.  Most other e-commerce platforms would require substantial modification to provide these features.
